Some people just can't roleplay...
There are some rules I made up... *shrugs* I'm getting tired of bad roleplay
1. If you're in a scene with two people and you're kinda the third wheel, meaning you don't fit in the scene, STAY OUT OF IT!!!
2. Know the heart levels, please! If your RPG name is in the black heart area, you can't kiss them or whatever. Black = NO KISSING got it? It's rude to the other people, especially the receiver of the kiss.
3. NO DRAMA!!! Quit with the overly dramatic drama. No one cares; it's roleplay, not your life!!! The idea is to have fun and screw around, play with ideas a little. Crying or throwing yourself at another character won't get that character to like your character, just piss 'em off a lot.
4. Descriptions. It doesn't help anyone to know that your character is sobbing. It helps to know what your character is thinking or feeling, use different words, emotions! _____ is sad. _____ feels sad. _____ starts crying. SHUT UP!!! Instead use things like...
____ looked on the scene with hurt in ____'s heart, the heat of their love palpable. ____ shook ____'s head, realizing ____'s unrelinquished love. _____ left the room, rejected and hurt but understanding, realizing ____ better move on for fear of getting hurt worse.
SOUNDS MUCH BETTER AND COOLER!!! I don't know if this is too bold on my part, it wasn't aimed towards anyone in particular, I've just noticed...
SOME
PEOPLE
CAN'T
ROLEPLAY.
That's all I'm trying to say and I hope to you god this helped someone.
Edit: also please stay in character, it helps a lot. If Leera started buying presents for guys, that'd be out of her character. If Zephil stopped being distant and cried, that'd be just wrong. If you set your character to be a certain way, they got accepted because they were that way!!! No changing it in the middle, k? STAY IN CHARACTER!!!
